Annual Sports Day 2026

The Annual Sports Day of Gnan Srishti School of Excellence, held after the pandemic, was an event to look forward to. Students from Pre-KG to Grade 10 got the opportunity to express their sporting talents. Each child participated in the heats, followed by the finals, in both track and field events. The track events included the 50m, 100m and 200m dash and the inter-house relays. The field events included long jump, shot put and discus. Sports Day practice ran across a month, culminating in a colourful showcase featuring drill displays by grades Pre-KG to 7, a yoga display by grade 6, and a band display by the grade 9 students. The torch run was carried out by sportspersons in the school who have represented at various levels, including the state level — Avaneesh, Skanda and the school's cricketers, Kalandika the badminton player, and Olive, Midhilan and Tanmayi the skaters — led by the School Sports Captains, Karthik and Tanishka. The highlight of the event was the March Past display by the four houses — Challengers, Defenders, Raiders and Warriors. The Defenders were the March Past winners.
